Dan joined Brasier Freeth as a Partner in the Retail Lease Advisory Team in April 2026.
He joined from CBRE, where he was part of the Retail Lease Advisory Team advising both landlords and occupiers on a broad range of landlord and tenant matters. His work has included rent reviews, lease renewals, lease restructures and dispute resolution, as well as acting as an Expert Witness in Court.
Dan brings a highly client-focused approach to lease advisory, underpinned by extensive transactional experience across high streets, shopping centres, out-of-town retail parks and drive-thru restaurants nationwide. He has acted for a diverse range of clients, including commercial property investors, leading retail brands, catering operators and private individuals.
At Brasier Freeth, Dan supports clients navigating increasingly complex lease negotiations, portfolio management and wider asset strategy decisions, helping them achieve practical and commercially effective outcomes.
Dan is married and is a father to 3 children and a cat. When that doesn’t keep him busy enough, he likes to spend his spare time in the gym, running, playing football and following his beloved Liverpool FC around the country.
Ben joined Brasier Freeth in September 2022 as part of the graduate rotation programme. He holds a degree in Geography from the University of Portsmouth and went on to complete a Master’s Degree in Real Estate at the University of Reading.
Ben gained a broad range of experience across the firm through the graduate rotation programme. He began in the Professional department, where he developed valuation and lease advisory skills, before moving into the Business Space agency team. He then undertook a further rotation within the Retail & Leisure agency team, working with both landlords and occupiers across a range of high street properties and shopping centres.
In November 2024, Ben successfully passed his APC, qualifying as an RICS Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer. He now works as a Surveyor within the Retail & Leisure agency team.
Outside of work, Ben has a strong passion for travel and the outdoors. He is a Scout leader in his spare time and loves camping and hiking. He is also a keen tennis player and runner.

Andrew is a member of the Valuation & Professional team at Brasier Freeth and is based at our Kings Langley office. He has a large caseload of lease advisory instructions for landlord and tenant clients and also carries out valuations for loan security and other purposes. He takes pride in the fact that he is a fair person and will always treat others with respect. He also never misses a deadline.
He has an established track record of achieving successful outcomes for landlord and tenant clients in relation to rent reviews, lease renewals and other professional instructions. His experience encompasses client-side roles at Sally Salon Services, First Quench Retailing and City Plumbing as well as working in private practice, notably including ten years at niche firm Day and Bell where he was part of an asset management team responsible for over 3,000 retail, office, industrial and residential properties mainly in the Home Counties but also as far afield as the Midlands, Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.
Clients and professional accomplishments
Andrew has carried out valuations for a range of well known clients including Nat West, HSBC, Handelsbanken and Virgin Money as well as Hertfordshire County Council and Look Ahead, a charitable organisation that delivers mental health, learning disabilities, homelessness and young people services. In relation to lease advisory instructions he has negotiated lease renewals on behalf of Esquire Retail Limited and Howden Insurance as well as lease advisory instructions for numerous other clients, both large and small.
Andrew contributed to a very successful acquisitions programme at City Plumbing, helping to secure 9 new branches in the South East in the first year in a very competitive market. While at First Quench Retailing he was responsible for over 400 branches which included over 80 rent reviews and lease renewals per year.
Outside of work
Andrew lives in Letchworth Garden City and has four children ranging in ages from 22 to 13. He is a long-suffering Charlton Athletic supporter and goes to home matches at The Valley whenever he can. After something of a break he now has the running bug again and can frequently be seen on the pavements of Letchworth or alongside the Grand Union Canal at Kings Langley during weekday lunchtimes.
Benjie is an Associate at Brasier Freeth and a key member of the Retail, Restaurant & Leisure team. Having progressed through the company graduate programme in 2016, he gained broad experience across the Office & Industrial, Valuation and Retail before qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 2019.
Benjie’s remit is broad, he works across our commercial agency, lease advisory and valuation, with a specialist focus on the retail, restaurant and leisure sectors nationwide. Working primarily with occupier clients, he has a strong understanding of their operational and commercial requirements, enabling him to deliver strategic, tailored advice that supports their long-term business objectives
He works with a range of national occupiers, providing both commercial agency and lease advisory services. His major clients include The Foschini Group (TFG) – overseeing acquisitions and lease advisory for Hobbs, Phase Eight and Whistles across their UK portfolio, – TK Maxx, supporting their London expansion programme, – and EE on lease advisory matters.
Alongside this, he has a proven track record in supporting emerging brands, most notably helping Brim Burgers grow from a single restaurant to 12 sites nationwide. He also has extensive experience working with leisure operators and currently assists overseeing the entire national property portfolio for Pirate Studios, delivering both acquisition and professional advice.
Based in South West London, Benjie is a keen cyclist and can often be found tackling routes through the Surrey Hills and beyond. He also enjoys walking the pooch, especially when there’s a good pub along the way, and is always on the lookout for his next adventurous holiday.
Jeremy joined bf in 1984 to set up the Professional Services Department and became a Partner in 1988. Jeremy is a Chartered Surveyor and Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators with over 35 years’ experience advising both corporate and private clients. In 2024 he became a consultant at Brasier Freeth.

Jeremy has over 30 years’ experience of acquisition and Lease Advisory work throughout London and the South East. His expertise is acknowledged by the RICS, he is on the President’s Panel of Independent Experts and Arbitrators, regularly receiving appointments to determine rent review disputes on offices, logistics, industrial and warehousing premises.
Practical experience of acting as Expert Witness in Court on 1954 LTA lease renewals. Previously an external tutor in Valuation for the College of Estate Management, Reading. He was a member of the RICS Working Party on preparation and publication of 2nd Edition Guidance Note on PACT, published in 2018. Landlord clients in last the 5 years include Federated Hermes, Royal London, abrdn, DTZ-IM, Picton, Orchard Street IM and Knight Frank IM.
Key occupier clients include Compass Group UK & Ireland and Lawsons.
Outside work, having only just recently hung up his cricket boots, he spends his leisure time taking advantage of his MCC membership watching a good deal of cricket with pint in hand and trying to improve his golf handicap, thus far with only a modicum of success.
